Process Improvement Consultant - Banking Clients

Ref: MT - Process Improvement
Type: Permanent
Location: London or South East
Salary: £50000 to £95000 + Bonus, Healthcare and Pension

Our client is one of the leading Management Consultancies in the world and is, as part of a period of significant growth within their banking practice, are looking for specialists in the process improvement area, with a focus on banking clients

REQUIREMENTS

  • Background in IT service management and Application Services (SDLC) process improvement
  • Extensive knowledge of ITIL, specifically ITIL v3 and experience of implementing ITIL based frameworks into large organisations, ideally with global footprint. ITIL Managers certification is preferred though not mandatory
  • Knowledge of CMMi and other governance and control frameworks such as CoBIT. Experience of implementing such frameworks and evaluating the outcomes. Certification preferred but not mandatory
  • Practical knowledge of SDLC methods such as waterfall, RUP, RAD, Agile and applying these to improve SDLC performance
  • Experience of leading or undertaking SME responsibilities on IT change and process improvement programmes, preferably within banking
  • Used to senior management level engagement and facilitation
  • Experience of leading process design programmes / projects
  • Experience of leading process deployment programmes / projects
  • Good understanding of the risks, issues, mitigations, dependencies related to large scale process improvement programmes
  • Experience of rationalising IT application and process architectures
  • Good portfolio management experience
  • Project Management experience: PRINCE 2 or similar preferred but not mandatory
  • Experience of 6 Sigma, Lean
